Dr. S. Rajendra Prasad, Project Director, Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (UP) has been honored with prestigious award “Dr.Kalayya Krishnamurthy National Award for the Best Agricultural Research” for the year 2011-12, for his par excellence in agricultural research, specially a seed science and seed production, in the “foundation day” ceremony held on 05.10.2012 at UAS, Bangalore, Karnataka.
Dr. Asit Kumar Mandal, Scientist (Plant Pathology), Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (UP) has been awarded the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for P.G. Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Research in Agricultural and Allied Sciences 2011. The Award has been given by Hon’ble Sharad Pawar, Union Agriculture and Food Processing Minister on 16th July 2012 in the ICAR Award -2012 ceremony held at NASC Complex, New Delhi.
